The garden, gone quiet
There's a moment in mid-summer when the yard finally slows down. The watering's done, the light turns gold, and the only sound left is the wind moving through the glass on the porch. Every one of my wind chimes begins as a recycled wine bottle. I hand-paint each one and fire it in the kiln, so the color is fused into the glass for good — it can hang outside all year without fading. No two are ever quite the same, which I've always thought is the best part. If your porch or garden could use a little music, here are a few that are ready to find a home.
A Few Ready to Hang
Wishing you a few slow, golden evenings this month. Glassi yours, Amalia
